Under a recently appointed new Principal the Firm is moving into an exciting new era with a focus on growth and developments in infrastructure which will lead to the greater delivery of Legal services. We are local lawyers who care about local issues with a personal touch.
We are looking for an initiative taking, enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn on the job and play a key role in providing a high level of customer service to our clients.
The successful applicant will be responsible for general office administrative duties with the prospect of being trained to progress to a position as a Legal Secretary.
Your key tasks will be:
• Telephones – answering, redirecting, taking messages in a professional manner
• Meeting and greetings clients with a smile
• Conference room management and kitchen maintenance
• Collecting and distributing mail / courier
• Documentation processing
• Scanning documents
• Any ad-hoc duties that may come your way!
• General administrative support to Legal Secretaries
Skills & Attributes Required:
• Reliable with strong work ethic
• Strong customer focus
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Clear and concise ability to take messages and email communication
• Intermediate level of computer literacy
• Great organisational skills, proactive and attention to detail
• Flexibility, reliability and organisation at all times
• Friendly, personable manner
• Positive outlook
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Driver’s license is essential
• Experience or interest in the Legal Industry is an advantage, however not essential
