About the role

As the ideal candidate, you'll be an invaluable support to our Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring the smooth running of daily kitchen tasks. You'll take charge of controlling food costs, diligently completing health and safety logs, and inspecting incoming goods for quality. Plus, get ready to amaze guests with exceptional culinary experiences they won't forget!

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee breakfast operations, leading and managing the kitchen team to deliver quality foods efficiently.
  • Assign tasks to ensure smooth operations and follow-up to ensure effectiveness.
  • Prepare, cook, and present top-notch dishes.
  • Aid in training and mentoring kitchen staff in cooking procedures.
  • Encourage and promote excellent service to exceed customer expectations.

Experience required for this role:

  • Minimum two years experience in a similar role.
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery).
  • Solid experience leading and directing a kitchen team.
  • Impeccable pride in delivering consistent, high-quality produce.
  • Excellent time management skills for handling pressure and prioritizing tasks.
  • Proven leadership and organizational abilities.
