About the Role
The successful candidate will work on a range of small to medium clients and involve with tasks from start to finish. The successful candidate should be excited about the following tasks:
- General Bookkeeping, Preparation of Individual, Company, Trust and SMSF Tax Returns, reconciliation of bank accounts, Journals/Ledgers.
- Completing BAS Returns
- Assist in year-end accounts
- Able to liaise with the ATO and other regulatory agencies on the client’s behalf
- Liaising with clients regarding tax matters - Your experience with tax solutions is not as critical as your ability to understand the issue and having excellent communication skills (critical).
- General administrative tasks - Ability to work in a small team in a leading or assisting role.
- Good broad computer skills - Great computer and typing skills, experience with MYOB Accountants Office and BGL is advantageous.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum 1 to 2 years of local experience in an accounting firm
- Having dealt with clients
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Mandarin speaker is preferred but not essential
- Great problem solving skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Xero, MYOB,MYOB Accountants Office, Excel, Word experience essential
