What You'll Do
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner - Operations, your role will assist in ensuring the successful preparation, review and delivery of the Curragh mine Forecast and Budget cash costs in compliance with Curragh Leadership Team, reporting timeframes and Group internal and external reporting requirements.
Your accountabilities will include:
- Ensure timely delivery of Curragh month-end reporting in compliance with internal controls and management requirements.
- Maintain the financial integrity of General Ledgers and Accounting Records for Curragh, adhering to accounting standards.
- Prepare key inputs and commentary for internal and external reporting related to the Curragh mine.
- Create monthly financial reporting packs for Curragh Leadership Team, addressing results and variance analysis.
- Post journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and contribute to EBITDA forecasts, annual budget processes, and audits for the Curragh mine.
What You'll Bring
Key to your success will be your:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting
- CA / CPA Qualification
- Experience working in a Professional Services firm or in Commercial accounting roles
- Experience working in the mining industry is desirable
- Experience preparing monthly Management financial reports for stakeholders and preparing variance analysis commentary
