About the role

Based in our Sydney office, the Lacoste Key Account Manager’s role is to autonomously manage a given portfolio in order to increase the sales & profitability of the brand and carry out the brand’s broader marketing objectives.

The predominant focus of the role is to ensure sales targets are met, through the performance and support of the sales team, whilst ensuring an environment in which the sales team can be entrepreneurial within certain boundaries.

The Lacoste Key Account Manager is to provide a high level of operational support to the Head of Sales & Product by overseeing the running of the day-to-day requirements of the Lacoste Brand. This will be achieved by coordinating the functions of sales, purchasing and general operations.

In addition this role will foster and develop long term relationships between True Alliance and customers & provide the company with valuable industry feedback and insight.


About the candidate

As well as this, the following skills and attributes will contribute to your success in the role:

  • Minimum 3 years as a Key Account Manager
  • Experience in Footwear is highly desirable
  • Commerce / Communications based qualifications an advantage, but not essential.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Proven track record setting and managing budgets.
  • Experience in communicating with senior management.
  • Articulate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer liaison skills, both face to face and over the phone
  • Costing products
  • Strong eye for fashion and trend analysis
  • Interests in product development but not necessary
  • Results oriented.
  • Able to successfully reach predetermined targets.
  • Able to work autonomously.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • High level Excel skills mandatory when working and operating MSL
  • Understanding of BI reporting and analysis
