The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in achieving maximum sales profitability and growth by promoting and selling the company's products portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, with a passion for renewable energy and a drive to make a positive impact on the environment.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities for business growth within the existing client base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements including preparation of written proposals and quotations.
- Implement strategies to maximise client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales strategies and achieve targets.
- Negotiate contracts and develop pricing agreements.
- Monitor industry and market trends to identify new sales opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports to management on Key Account activities and performance.
You
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Success in Key Account management, knowledge in renewables / photovoltaic industry desired.
- Proven track record in driving sales growth and meeting/exceeding targets.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy products, technologies, industry trends and market dynamics.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
