Who will you be working with? Reporting to the National Sales Director, this role requires a highly capable sales individual with a good depth of experience in driving growth through a high level of activity. Experience in customer facing roles within high engineering value add products and systems is required and experience in the rail industry is highly desirable.
The Key Account Manager will serve as the key interface with the customer and effectively manage interactions across the full range of Wabtec Transit products.
Where is this position located: This position is located in Eagle Farm, Queensland
What will your typical day look like?- Analyze markets, identify opportunities, prepare comprehensive account management plans;
- Drive growth by prospecting, qualifying and winning new business;
- Build exceptional customer relationships through excellent account management;
- Lead the development of commercial proposals with support from purchasing, operations, projects and engineering; and
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience including product management and/or direct selling;
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Transportation / Logistics, Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university;
- Proven business and sales team leadership skills with a successful growth track record and margin retention;
- Railroad products, services, industry knowledge and technical depth and breadth; Ability to lead and manage through changing business conditions;
