Reporting to the Project Manager your role will see you liaising with both the PM and also Superintendents to achieve programs of work and additionally your role will see you:Working within a civil construction environment and deliver project milestones
Completing the delivery or survey works and working with the back to back Senior Surveyor on quantum/s. Processing and reporting Planning & coordinating survey set out taking into consideration continuity of projects and utilization of machinery and contractors. Monitoring and tracking that all works are set out in strict accordance with project drawings and specifications.
Seeking input from the Site Supervisor/ Project Manager regarding the efficient and effective placement of survey pegs on ‘non-standard’ situations. Conducting all computer based / electronic calculations prior to arrival on site. Communicating all necessary information to site personnel noted on the pegs.
Providing details to site personnel where there is a risk of noncompliance.Where required, provide additional documented information / advice where clarity may be required. Conducting site visits to determine and establish survey controls, and survey methods & techniques to be used. Setting out construction site using predetermined survey techniques and install equipment.
Reviewing and assessing plans for accuracy against markings and project specifications on site. Analysing and importing data into system for drafting of final plans. Maintaining and keeping current library of final plans in the system for all completed projects.
