The Role
We are currently seeking a Wills and Estates Lawyer to join our vibrant Brisbane office.
Our Estates team assist with the collection of estate assets from various institutions and liaise with the estate’s creditors where appropriate. They specialise in family provision applications, equitable claims, constructive trusts, will and trust deed validation, interpretation and drafting of wills and cy-pres applications, while advising on the rights of trustees and beneficiaries in relation to trusts. The team approaches all matters in a commercial way to achieve the best result possible for our clients.
This role will allow you to liaise with clients directly and take ownership of transactions, with the close support of your Partner and senior authors within the team.
Experience
As the successful candidate, you will have between two and four years post-admission experience within the Estates field. You will display an outstanding client service ethic, a desire to provide technically excellent advice and the enthusiasm to play a part in the continued growth of our team. You must be a strong communicator, with the ability to work well both autonomously and as a part of our close-knit team. Most importantly, you will have a genuine interest in Estates, with a desire to build your career in this space.
