About the role:
- Lead and inspire a team to achieve strategic objectives related to educational Research Impacts.
- Undertake advanced analysis of research processes in schools, trialling new innovations by providing insightful data and reporting to support direction, resources, policy and processes.
- Support the capturing of key Research Impact evidence to inform BCE strategic directions.
- Provide support and advice to BCE on data analysis.
- Support the development and implementation of emerging research, innovation, and impact programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate processes for identifying needs and providing support to schools, teachers, and students participating in the Innovative Schools for Impact program.
- Educate staff on developing research capabilities through training and support.
- Help support schools in capturing Research Impacts through new processes and procedures
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including representing BCE on QCEC networks as relevant.
- Shape and lead the stages of implementation needed to maximise the chances of success and generating positive educational impacts.
- Experience in developing research capabilities and capturing Research Impacts within a school environment.
- Capacity to provide leadership, specialist advice and support in the area of educational research.
- Thorough knowledge and deep understanding of the Australian curriculum, QCAA 11-12 syllabuses and the Queensland Certificate of Education requirements, and professional practices and relevant legislation.
- Degree qualifications in education with QCT registration and post-graduate ‘research-focused’ qualification/s.
- Evidence of major research project work is desirable.
