As one of our highly valued Lead Educators, you’ll support and guide children’s learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.
At C&K Cotton Tree Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning five days a week from 7.00am to 6:00pm.
We are situated in the very pleasant community of Cotton Tree. We are nestled between the local Library, tennis court and lawn bowl clubs, diagonal to the centre are the Neighbourhood Centre and the Cotton Tree Community Gardens. The beach and Cotton Tree Surf Club are a pleasant walk down the road, as are the local shops.
At C&K Cotton Tree Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning five days a week from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
C&K Cotton Tree has been a fixture in the community for 40 years and originally opened its doors in May 1976. It is a purpose built Childcare Centre with 5 rooms. We have a dining room, a great space where the children sit, talk and eat with the educators. The room is also used for celebrations, workshops and special events.
Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.
What you’ll bring
Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!
To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have or be willing to work towards:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
