About the role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as the Sales Analyst Lead. In this pivotal role, our new person will be tasked with delivering comprehensive analysis, invaluable insights, and strategic guidance pertaining to sales and product performance. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the accurate and timely distribution of sales data and administering the Phocas Business Intelligence Software (BIS) for AutoPacific Group.
The Sales Analyst Lead will actively engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional departments, utilizing their analytical prowess to develop insightful reports. Furthermore, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales teams, working in tandem to achieve and exceed organisational targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide assistance to the Sales & Marketing & OE Sales Directors, National Sales Manager, Business Development Managers, Product Managers and other Managers as required.
- Support Aftermarket (AM) and Original Equipment (OE) sales teams.
- Support timely submission of quotation information to support account management team.
- Undertake and present customer, product/market analysis (Weekly, Monthly and Ad hoc).
- Preparation and administration of annual sales budgets and monthly sales revenue forecasts
- Identify trends in customer behaviour, product performance, and potential improvement opportunities.
- Develop tools for analysing true product cost with engineering, finance, operations and supply chain.
About you
- Sound experience in a similar sales/business/financial analysis role.
- High level of data analysis and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of Data Warehouse and principles of clean data.
- Automotive product knowledge and/or experience (preferred but not essential).
- Advanced knowledge of administering web-based business intelligence software (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and Intermediate computer skills.
