Grok’s curriculum experts provide professional learning, resources, and advice to teachers and education systems. Grok collaborates with industry and government to deliver free, authentic, curriculum-aligned learning experiences that teach the skills industry needs and inspires diverse learners.
About the Role
At Grok Academy, our customers (learners and educators) are at the centre of everything we do. We have an audacious strategy to provide tailored learning experiences and partner with teachers to bring digital technologies education to every classroom in Australia and beyond.
Our Strategy function works across Grok Academy to take our strategy from a page into action. This is not an ivory tower strategy role and you’ll be expected to work with your leader to understand all of Grok’s key capabilities and products and work to bring focus, alignment and innovation and increase strategy execution to maximise Grok’s impact on the education ecosystem first and foremost in Australia, but also explore ways we can have global reach.
We’re a fast-growing organisation with ambitious goals, and there’s a real opportunity for you to take ownership of the ongoing development and future direction of our organisational strategy.
Two positions are available - one with a strategy acceleration focus, and another with a strategic initiatives focus.
What you’ll do
- Work with the Grok Strategy leadership team to assist in identifying and assessing emerging strategic opportunities to enhance and scale Grok’s impact.
- Assist with conducting market analysis to intimately understand Grok’s position in the edtech ecosystem
- Assist in analysing performance data to identify insights and opportunities for growth or improvement
- Contribute to delivery of emerging programs end-to-end through inception, to delivery and evaluation
- Assist in managing relationships with key including industry and government partners
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations
- Work across Grok’s key capabilities and functions to deliver quality work and foster collaboration
- Stay informed about edtech industry trends and best practices

- You're someone who enjoys working with amazing people to deliver inspiring outcomes and can point to an impressive record of doing so.
- You’re a strong communicator - can speak the language of engineering, data, design and operations and can coordinate cross-functionally with each to achieve big wins.
- You have a proactive approach through initiating, owning & driving work from start to finish. You identify the opportunities where you can make the largest impact, and you see it through.
- You can analyse and absorb large quantities of technical information, create compelling business cases and form valuable insights
- You have a track record of communicating clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms to diverse audiences
- You have experience in change management and understand how to rally a diverse team to embrace change
- You embrace self-driven learning and can independently, with little direction deliver value through your work

The incumbent of this position can be based anywhere in Australia
Travel: Because this may be a remote role, the applicant would need to be prepared to travel. The time spent on travel is estimated to be 30%.
