About the role
Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, you will facilitate and deliver Learning and Development program in the hotel. As Learning & Development Manager you will analyse the hotel training needs on a range of indicators and develop a robust and innovative Training Strategy and Calendar to bring the Langham Hotels & Resorts goals to life.
The successful candidate for this role will have demonstrated success in effectively nurturing relationships, preferably in a similar position in service, events or hospitality.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Champion, lead and deliver our Learning and Development programs and nurture employee retention through satisfying the development aspirations of colleagues.
- Analyse the hotel training needs on a range of indicators and develop a robust and innovative Training Strategy and Calendar to bring the Langham Hotels & Resorts goals to life.
- Be a true ambassador of our service culture and the company Vision, Mission, Values and be a key driver of our pursuit of excellence.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards and requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful, our ideal candidate will have either a background in Operations in a Luxury Hotel Environment and/or previous experience in Learning & Development role within a Luxury Service Environment.
Other key attributes we are looking for include:
- Proven experience Learning and Development role.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective training programs and highly organized; able to prioritize.
- Superior Presentation, communication, interpersonal and Public Speaking Skills.
- Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality.
- Driving Operational and Financial KPIs through robust Learning Strategy.
- Superior knowledge of the luxury market & a luxury mindset.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Psychology/Human Resources/Business or similar
