About the role - Are you passionate about education and supporting young learners? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their full potential and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Support Teacher Inclusive Education to support students.
- Provide small group assistance to students who need additional help.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support as required.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students.
About you - Preferred Criteria:
- Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or equivalent).
- Experience working with primary school-aged children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
- Passion for Inclusive Education and supporting all students
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
