Lecturer - Nursing

AMA College is the Registered Training Organisation of the Australian Medical Association (WA) inc, supporting both domestic and international students through access to a broad range of qualifications, including aged, disability, mental health, health leadership and nursing.

AMA College is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time or part-time Lecturer that has experience in delivering the HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to nursing students, ensuring their learning experience is positive and engaging.

AMA College’s campus is high-tech, welcoming and conveniently located in the heart of Joondalup.

1. A commitment to delivering quality education and training through knowledge of national standards, professional standards and the training package.  
2. The ability to share your knowledge and expertise with our students in an engaging and motivating style through contemporary instructional design and incorporating adult learning theory.
3. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse. 
4. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110, as outlined in the standards for RTO’s 2015. 
5. Demonstrated industry currency and a commitment to continuing professional development.   
6. A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in a variety of clinical settings.
