About the role:
A new role has been created working closely with a fantastic General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel as well as the broader legal, risk and compliance function across a range of work including:

• drafting and advising on various contractual agreements including general commercial, procurement, mining leases, confidentiality, compensation agreements, access, tenure and property related agreements;
• liaising with relevant regulators;
• assisting with compliance related work;
• advising on regulatory and legislative requirements such as environmental approvals;
• M&A advisory work including due diligence; and
• various governance related matters.

Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role you will have:

• 5-10 years' PAE and an unrestricted practicing certificate;
• ideally demonstrated experience in corporate, energy and resources, projects;
• ideally top tier training and some in-house experience (resources highly desired) relevant to the above;
• an understanding and demonstrated experience working within a highly regulated legal environment;
• the ability to interact with and influence various stakeholders in the business;
• an interest in the technology and process side of legal practice; and
• a commercial approach allowing you to manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
