Our client, a legal firm based in Adelaide CBD seeks an experienced permanent full time Legal Secretary to join their team.

- Reviewing and editing drafts, confirming that the transcription is correct, complete, and consistent.
- Transcribing the dictation or notes of a legal practitioner.
- Producing a variety of documents from handwritten/typewritten drafts.
- Setting up new files accurately and speedily on instruction.
- To attend to both clients and lawyers in a professional manner.
- Takes pride in accurate record management.
- Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of records.
- Experience with transcribing from dictation recordings.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Medical typist or legal secretarial background, coupled with a very strong eye for detail and accuracy with systems would be advantageous.
- Experience with formatting documents.
- Highly developed organisation and communication skills.
- The ability to operate independently with a high level of initiative.
- Good IT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
