AddressWe have a number of Paralegal and or Legal Secretary positions available in our small-medium legal office. We practise in a broad range of areas including wills and estates, property law, family law, general commercial work and commercial litigation.
We do not handle personal injury or criminal matters.
Our firm makes full use of Leap in the Cloud, Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat. Experience making efficient and effective use of these software packages is a significant advantage, willingness to learn to make use of these packages is essential.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- It is desirable for you to have recent and relevant experience in a legal office in a similar position.
- Clear written communication skills with ability to spell and use punctuation correctly
- Clear oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work is essential
- Understanding the requirements of working in a professional office environment including appropriate manner, attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Strong people skills
- High standards of personal presentation
- General competence with use of computers, technology devices and Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Leap and PEXA is strongly preferred
- Punctuality and reliability with attendance at work
- Confident and efficient telephone and reception skills
- Accurate data entry skills
This is a full time position. Work hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5:00pm, with a one hour lunch break each day from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, overtime is rarely, if ever required.
