An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Legal Assistant to join their Corporate team in Christchurch to support two Partners & their team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal support.
You will be working closely with two partners & a team of market leading lawyers on matters for high profile clients, delivering exceptional performance to enable the team to provide outstanding client service.  We are looking for a legal assistant who can work in a fast-paced high volume practice.  You will be someone who can be proactive and work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong initiative for providing administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Liaising with clients and stakeholders
• File management
• Managing calendars
• Billing, time coding and reporting
• Arranging travel (including flights and accommodation)
• Assisting with events and business development activities

Required skills and personal attributes

• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
