Potts Lawyers is looking for a Legal Assistant to join our litigation team full time.

About You
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Experience in a legal team is desirable not essential, what is essential is a desire to build a career!
- Have a high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
- A professional telephone manner and commitment to providing quality client service.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality of all matters affecting the firm and its clients.
- Exceptional communication and organisation skills.
- An ability to meet deadlines with strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
- The ability to take and follow directions, work within a team and communicate with other employees across the firm.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
- The ability to work autonomously and efficiently with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to assist colleagues.
- A desire to excel in your role.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Your role will include but will not be limited to:
- Assisting clients with queries.
- Drafting, preparing and amending correspondence, documentation, briefs and the like.
- Managing and scheduling appointments.
- Preparing client tax invoices.
- Undertaking enquiries as directed.
- Filing.
- Providing proactive administrative support to the team.
- Performance of all other tasks as required for the effective conduct of client matters.
- All other general administration duties required by the team such as attending to bring-ups, opening files, and preparing files for archiving.
- Providing other secretarial, clerical and administrative support when requested in a timely, effective and efficient manner.

Remuneration
