About The Role:
We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Mid/SnrLegal Secretary with experience in TPD to join our Sydney office.
You will work closely with the practice and operational teams to perform day-to-day routine clerical and administrative functions including but not limited to:
- Drafting correspondences, generating precedent letters.
- Scheduling appointments and diary management.
- General administrative duties, copying, scanning, sending and saving incoming correspondences and maintaining paper and electronic files.
- Identifying legal matters and recognising legal documents.
- Working with the team to action daily operational tasks.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for responding to calls and emails (inbound and outbound).
- Actively assisting the team to ensure efficient work practices are maintained.
About You:
We are looking for a pro-active and professional individual with a positive attitude.
- 3+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary.
- Experience in personal injury/TPD is highly desirable.
- Highly motivated and effective communication skills including excellent phone etiquette.
- Organised and able to maintain high quality work with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong document drafting/filing skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating in a team environment
