Memocorp Australia Pty Ltd is a retail and commercial property group engaged in the ownership, operation and management of retail shopping centres and commercial properties.
The Opportunity
With an immediate start we are seeking a Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant to support our in-house senior legal counsel in relation to retail and commercial property matters. This is a part-time role that will require efficiency, communication and attention to detail.
Key duties of the position will include:
- Providing administrative support (filing, photocopying etc.).
- Assisting in preparation of correspondence, leases and other property related documents.
- Assisting with communicating with tenants and their solicitors regarding lease documents.
- Submitting leases for registration and liaising with external service providers in relation to registration of leases.
- Otherwise assisting senior inhouse legal counsel with related matters as required.
About You
The ideal applicant for this position is a results-driven, highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail. Intermediate to advanced typing and computer skills including Microsoft Office.
You have at least 12 months administrative experience, preferably in a legal environment, and ideally have some knowledge of the property industry.
