As the Leisure Business Development Manager, you are responsible for promoting and optimising room sales for our portfolio of six properties. You will bring your own personality to the role along with a natural alignment to the company’s values. An excellent communicator you will thrive on working with multiple stakeholders and delivering exception standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Sourcing and securing FIT and Group Leisure business.
- Fostering relationships with decision makers in-order to grow revenue and profit.
- Further developing relationships with current accounts and their travel agents and PCOs
- Attend trade shows and industry events to drive broader and deeper relationships.
- Develop innovative solutions to specific customer requirements.
- Identifying new opportunities in the leisure market segments.
- Manage existing accounts with OTA’s and inbound agents
- Develop strategic plans to meet sales targets and expand the customer base.
What the successful candidate will have:
- A dynamic individual with proven experience as a hospitality/travel/tourism sales professional with sound knowledge or distribution channels and markets.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Passionate about sales and the hospitality industry.
- Strong Relationship Management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
