As the go-to person for all things IT, this role is responsible for keeping our systems running smoothly. From troubleshooting hardware and software issues to setting up new equipment and performing maintenance, you'll be the hero who keeps our team productive and efficient. As an IT Technician, you'll be responsible for:- Providing level 1 & 2 technical support via phone, email, and remote access, while managing a queue of support requests and escalating issues as needed.
- Managing Active Directory, including user account creation/deletion/changes, group policy, DHCP, and DNS.
- Monitoring and maintaining all IT systems, including network, print, telephony, video conferencing, backup and recovery, endpoint protection, and RMM tools.
- Setting up IT hardware, performing repairs and updates, and maintaining the asset register.
- Basic network management (VLANs, VPN).
- Managing and deploying mobile devices using device management and enrolment systems.
- Installing and maintaining software systems, including ongoing support, upgrading, and patching.
- Relocating users and their technology, assisting in office relocations and data cabling.
- Ensuring the security and privacy of all network and computer systems.
- Ensuring standard operating procedures, system configurations, and client documentation are up to date.
- Minimum 4 years' IT industry experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Servers, and Microsoft 365 Suite
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills to manage multiple tasks with competing timelines.
- Friendly and patient customer service approach with users of all skill levels
- Enthusiasm, reliability, honesty, and a high degree of accuracy
- Continual improvement mindset and the ability to acquire and develop knowledge in new systems and technology.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills for documentation and adapting communication styles to different situations and people.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and travel to various sites in Australia.
