Administrator for a full-time position based in Townsville

They are seeking an experienced LGO3 Administration Officer to join their team under a full-time temporary contract, based in Townsville, QLD.
Your new role As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for delivering innovative and exceptional customer service to the local community. Through direct administrative support, you will draft letters to residents, manage incoming customer enquiries, and play a key role in collaborating across the administrative units.
Provide excellent customer service through growth and management of internal and external customer relationships and government departments. Collate and prepare accurate and timely documentation that is aligned with team objectives.Receive and implement service requests, work orders, correspondence and record keeping, meeting the needs of the team.Be a pillar of positive safety behaviours, and lead workplace policies, procedures, and legislation.Develop a culture of customer-centricity and personal accountability. Reshape current service deliver to maximise value, ensuring optimal work performance of the administration unit. What you’ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role you will have:
A strong customer service skillset through written and verbal communication, with an ability to educate and influence others.Excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to independently or in a team, providing high quality and timely secretariat and administrative support with a focus on attention to detail and efficiency.Proven experience role-modelling Workplace, Health and Safety Management systems through leadership and exercising compliance and legislative requirements.A positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a changing environment, including the ability to undertake duties in various work locations and teams across the government division.Proficiency in administrative and financial government systems. Certificate IV in Business or similar and/or minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant role.
