Bituminous Products, an IXOM brand, is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of bitumen-based and associated products for road surfacing and general industrial use.
It has five manufacturing sites around Australia and a suite of bitumen-related products, particularly polymer modified bitumen which it tailors for many of the hardest-wearing roads across the country.
The Role
We are currently looking for a motivated and flexible Administration Officer to join our team in our Bituminous Products office based in Pinkenba, Brisbane. This role will report into our Accounting Supervisor and work broadly across the transactional accounts space including payable, receivables.

Key Responsibilities
- Entering customer pricing into SAP as received from Commercial team
- Creation of Ship To's relating to Customer master data
- Sales Order entry and support any follow up to monitor sale order lifecycle
- Vendor Master Data including submission of new and changes to existing vendors in VMD tool
- Create Purchase Order in SAP (direct and indirect purchases and any freight related additional costs)
- Management of Purchase Order webcycle (direct and in-direct) and actions to clear for payment
- Entering freight rates and routes into SAP as received from Branch Manager
- Reconciliation of freight invoices, rates and accruals (matching) to validate and allow carrier invoices for payment
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Prior experience using SAP is beneficial for the successful candidate
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
- Confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders across the broader business
- High attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the desire to continue learning and developing
