If you’re an experienced Site Line Chef with a flair for creativity, an eye for detail, strong leadership skills and a passion for good food, we have a great opportunity for sites experienced and qualified Line Chef to join our team, working on a 2:1 (fourteen days on, seven days off), 11 hours Fly-In-Fly-Out from Sydney to Snowy Mountains in NSW.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for experienced ENR Chefs, the very best who can hit the ground running. To be successful, you’ll need;
- Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong leadership skills and focus on safety and customer service
- At least 5 Years previous experience in mass-catering environments is essential (volume cooking)
- Previous FIFO Line Chef experience is mandatory
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Construction Industry White Card
- Australian Citizenship or full working rights in Australia
About the role:
The successful candidate will be expected to;
- Provide leadership, coordinate, and support staff in maintaining a customer focused, secure and safe working environment across the site whilst providing the highest level of service
- In this high-performance environment, you will achieve success by consulting with stakeholders on a regular basis while driving a high level of performance within your Team
- We take safety seriously, so adhering to our policies and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues is paramount. Developing a strong safety-focused culture within your Team is vital
