AddressWe currently have a vacancy for an experienced lawyer to join our Litigation team in our Brisbane or Toowoomba office. The scope of the role is to be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks associated with legal matters, including providing legal advice, representing clients in court, negotiating settlements, and dealing with legal issues.
Role Accountabilities:
· Provide a high level legal services to clients;
· Work within relevant process and procedures to address risk management issues
· Work to personal targets and key performance indicators as agreed with the Team Leader
· Be a team player, accepting responsibility for initiating communication where necessary
· Play an active role in the development of and implantation of an annual marketing plan for the litigation team
Education / Qualifications
· Minimum 4 years PAE (post admission experience).
· Bachelor of Laws
· Unrestricted practicing certificate
Specialised Job Knowledge and Experience
· Proven experience as a Litigation Lawyer
· Exceptional drafting skills
· Ability to manage a high volume workload and manage multiple priorities
· Ability to confidently represent clients in court where required
· Ability to advise and brief other legal and administrative professionals regarding legal issues
