About the role
As a Lending Officer with Alex Bank, you will be key in providing our customers with the level of experience that gets us a 4.8-star rating on Trustpilot. You will be responsible for assessing, decisioning, and processing customer lending applications under our lending policy.
Our Loan Officers are also responsible for supporting the execution of our operational risk programs, including ALM/CTF, KYC, and Fraud Detection in line with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Execute customer onboarding activities and change requests
- Complete credit decisioning and the related verification activities
- Deliver timely, accurate, and quality processing activities, in line with our policies and procedures.
- Execute delegated lending activities within approval authorities.
- Contribute to the Operations Team achieving NPS (Net Promoter Score) and CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) targets, together with all other identified customer metrics.
- Identify and escalate any potential risk issues.
- Work effectively with all peers and stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Deliver quality and consistency in every customer interaction
About the right candidate:
- 2-5 years of work experience in the Banking or Finance industry
- Experience working with finance systems in the areas of origination, payments, and servicing
- Experience in executing delegated lending authorities within policy
- Understanding and application of credit risk decisions and methodologies in a consumer context
- Meet Fit and Proper Requirements for a Responsible Person as set out by APRA
- Proven customer relationship management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Established track record of exceeding targets, KPIs, and SLAs, in a quality-led, legislatively compliant environment
- Ability to foster relationships that contribute to the delivery of service improvements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to adapt and succeed in a changing environment
