About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and reliable Logistics Administration Officer to join our Gold Coast based team. This is a busy and varied role where you will process orders and be responsible for the fulfilment, packing and shipping of products to our customers.
The Logistics Administration Officer responsibilities include;
- Coordinating the fulfilment, packaging and shipping of orders to our customers.
- Communication with colleagues, suppliers and transport providers.
- Ensuring the accurate and efficient management of stock, storeroom, freight bookings and dispatch documentation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations with regards to deadlines and delays
- Receive stock and load it into various systems as well as assisting in the physical preparation of stock prior to dispatch
- Processing hardware repairs
- Assisting in monthly stocktakes.
This is a Monday to Friday (8:30am to 5pm) role based at our Southport Head Office.
About you:
- Experience in a similar role or industry is not essential as we do offer product and industry training.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact proactively with management and staff on all levels of the organization.
- Positive, can-do attitude to take on any duties which may include learning new and challenging tasks.
- Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, meet deadlines, be pro-active yet stay calm whilst working in a busy environment.
- As part of a small team, you will be reliable, self-motivated, proactive and be willing to take ownership.
- Microsoft office skills including Word, Excel & Outlook with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems.
- The ability work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Some Finance/Accounts entry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
