A global organisation located in the East. They pride themselves in providing expert advice, outstanding service, and tailored solutions to assist clients both across Australia and internationally. A new opportunity has opened for an experienced administrator to join their dynamic team on a 6 month contract.
Description
You will:
- Processing material orders received electronically by phone, or directly from customers arriving at the service desk.
- Unpacking materials delivered to the warehouse and putting away into appropriate bays and racks using forklift and other moving equipment.
- Safe manual handling of materials as part of putting away, picking, packing and placement onto customer vehicles Updating systems with stock movements.
- Liaising with suppliers
- Arranging for the salvage or refurbishment of stock to be processed to correct areas.
- Dispatch of Materials as required through approved courier.
- Monitoring of stock levels and provide advice when orders are required.
- Escalate supplier delivery issues as appropriate to minimise impact on field works.
- Sorting through returned stock, recording details and providing reports to management.
Profile
Skills and Experience:
- Health and Safety Awareness
- Previous warehouse experience involving manual picking and packing of materials.
- Versed in computer systems to manage customer orders and stock movement.
- Working with key internal customers and suppliers across all levels
- SAP (not essential).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Safely operate a forklift in confined spaces and high traffic areas.
