Let's delve into the role itself. We are seeking an assertive and strategic professional who can not only manage the relationship with our couriers but work to support a variety of logistics initiatives and projects.
Wondering what a typical day at PrimaPMI looks like? Here's a glimpse:
- Collaborating with the Logistics Manager at Prima to streamline the logistics function across both businesses.
- Engaging in face-to-face meetings with our carriers to discuss their performance objectives, even if the discussions may not always be positive.
- Coordinating local & international shipment when required
- Conducting Request for Proposals (RFPs) to ensure we secure the best value from our carriers for all internal skus.
- Auditing products to ensure the correct materials are used and align with our specifications.
- Developing shipping rules for products.
- Providing suggestions and feedback on how we can continuously improve and evolve as a company.

- Were proficient in excel
- Had an understanding of the market players and their offerings.
- Posses exceptional communication skills – the ability to command a room and assert yourself when necessary.

- Proven training and/or qualifications in Logistics.
- Existing relationships with carriers.
- Understanding of shipment costing.
- Previous experience in account management.
