About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Administrator who loves cranes and people as much as we do!
Our Logistics Administrator will assist with scheduling across all teams team and all regions for the business. As a team they ensure that our mobile cranes are matched and scheduled according to our client's job scopes, delivering on-time services which are perfectly suited to our client’s lifting requirements. You are a stickler for detail and organisation, you're not too shabby with a spreadsheet and you engage our clients and our field-based operators and riggers with your incredible charm and attention to detail.
A day on the job entails:
- Catching up with the operators to understand the scope of work for our clients, then identifying and booking the right cranes, counterweights and other add-ons to deliver the project, shut down or job;
- Navigating our scheduling system called Greentree, ensuring your data is up to date and precise. If you’ve heard of it, we’ll be super impressed, but if you haven’t, it’s not a deal breaker – we’ll train you;
- Liaising with clients, operators, supervisors, the business development guys and our accounting teams to discuss and confirm job scopes, quotes and charges; and
- Paying attention to and communicating road regulations and other HSE and compliance requirements to make sure our assets and people are safe and compliant at all times.
- Providing assistance to the Logistics Coordinators and various regions.
- Raising PO's in alignment to relevant invoices.
To be shortlisted, you are likely to have some or all of the following attributes:
- Experience working as a Logistics Coordinator, Mobilisation, Lift Coordinator, or something similar, in heavy industries.
- Strong computing skills – you can get around Microsoft products pretty well;
- Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding organisational and on-point follow-through skills;
- Confidence and charm – you love interacting with our incredible clients and you keep ‘solutions’ front of mind; and
- You’re excellent at keeping clients, leaders and your teammates informed and in the loop.
- Experience and Knowledge of Crane Hire advantageous
