SalaryThis exciting traineeship opportunity in Logistics and Warehousing will allow you to learn on the job and gain a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations. Our client is one of the largest civil demolition companies in the country and require someone to join their logistics team in the Hamilton Workshop. Primarily you will have a pivotal role in organising the parts and stock to be packaged up and delivered to the sites around Brisbane, whilst also maintaining all of the PPE and the workshop yard. This role will keep you engaged with something different every day and the opportunity to progress within the company post the traineeship. About the Role Daily working hours will be from 6am-2:30pm 2-year traineeship full time permanent role $25.50 an hour Raise purchase orders and change orders for suppliers Approve invoices for payments Order new stock and/or arrange existing stock to be dispersed Pick up & deliver ordered stock to various project sites Tidy and maintain all areas relating to the yard Stocking/restocking yard items Report and record all outgoing and incoming stock Update and maintain company systems and registers About You Have Manual Driving Licence (mandatory) Forklift Licence (desirable) Able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Testing Have the initiative and ability to suggest improvements and follow through with the implementation of these Ad-hoc duties at the Pinkenba yard as needed from time to time Positive communicator Safety focused at all times Positive can-do attitude Self-starter and go getter Be able to troubleshoot Have initiative with…
