Form of work What’s the role?
This role is responsible for the efficient coordination of products coming into and out of our business, through to the recipient retailer or subscriber. LCM’s will work closely with Contractors and Distributors to ensure opportunities and obligations are managed effectively to ensure optimum performance and safety compliance. Each LCM will monitor and review the logistics supply chain to ensure exceptional levels of service, and also identify new ways that we can improve our performance, while reducing cost and meeting customers’ expectations.
Extensive experience in an operational role, preferably in an FMCG environment
Strong customer service skills, ideally in a logistics environment
Routing or mapping experience will be looked upon favourably but is not a prerequisite
A passion for customer service and desire to make a difference which will create positive outcomes for customers and the business
Who you are
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong relationship building skills
You will be highly organised with the ability to quickly prioritise and deal with issues as they arise
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Ability to learn and adapt to a range of differing software systems
Although the role is largely within regular business hours you will be required to work overnight on occasion
