About the role
The Logistics Coordinator is a role within the Election Operations Division and is responsible for the management of the logistics operations for all the election events through to December 2025, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other “similar” vacancies that become available at the Commission. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
About you
We are looking for someone who has had experience in leading and managing projects and establishing clear processes, procedures, and schedules, in a logistics environment.
You will be responsible for creating robust systems to support the effective management of the Commission’s logistics operations activities. You will have had a similar role in the last five years and will have had experience in election events.
You will work within the Election Operations Division and as a member of the WA Electoral Commission will work to achieve its objectives, comply with its values, and provide services which are compatible with existing frameworks.
