About the role:
Join our dynamic team as a Logistics Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in Coordinating International and Domestic Logistics processes to ensure the operationally efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from our International Suppliers, through to our AU/NZ Customer base.
Reporting to the National Transport Lead and will be responsible for the coordination and reporting of Domestic and International freight movements across the business.
Proactive operational and administrative problem-solving, with a CI mindset is essential to this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and schedule shipments timely delivery of goods (Inbound & Outbound AIR, SEA and ROAD freight)
- Oversee preparation and distribution of required Import & Export documentation in line with COR legislation
- Oversee and review shipping lead times for internal and external communication
- Support our Customer Service Team in the review and resolution of any logistical issues that may arise
- Proactive communication and escalation of all Distribution Network Disruptions within the ISC Team & any other relevant stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all Third Party freight providers to ensure service levels are achieved
- Maintain accurate records of shipment and transportation activities (Financial & DIFOT) for analysis and review by business leaders and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency
- Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years proven experience in an Operational Logistics and/or Freight Forwarding role
- Sound knowledge of International and/or Domestic Logistics Networks and Processes
- Strong Customer Focus and Communication Skills
- Capable of working in a busy, fast paced environment
- A results-orientated mindset focused on achieving results
- Proactive operator with good problem-solving ability
- MS Office Suite (Excel)
- Qualifications in a Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline (a bonus)
