ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to acquired additional work, we're seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Telecommunications Procurement and Logistics team based in our North Ryde, NSW office. You will be responsible for:
- The coordination and communication of the transportation of materials between supply chain, project managers and customers
- Participating in weekly forecast reviews with the project team to ensure material is available to complete upcoming work
- Processing material requisition requests in line with project requirements
- Monitoring excess stock held by subcontractors and coordinating its return
- Liaising with Downer's Inventory team and warehouse staff to ensure all stock is made available as per business requirements and in line with Service Agreements
ABOUT YOU
- Previous worked in a customer service & data entry environment with experience in stock management, transportation planning or sales operations
- Proven industry work experience in Operations, Telecommunications & Logistics
- Advanced knowledge of Office suite with Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Experience coordinating activities between project and supply chain teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Qualification in Logistics, Warehousing or Supply Chain Management highly regarded, however not essential
