Logistics Officer
Randstad’s procurement & contract officer specialist, Hayley Wilson, is seeking a Logistics Officer for a large manufacturer based in Forrestdale.
As a Logistics Officer in this growing company you’ll be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the logistics within the organisation.
Key responsibilities of all the roles will include:
- Creating, scheduling and managing deliveries, to meet company deadlines- including experience in selecting the fastest and most economical routes for both domestic and international shipments.
- Ensure accurate record of all consignments.
- Ensure that all consignments comply with local and international regulations.
- Manage purchase orders for logistics activities to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
- Assess supplier performance regularly, addressing any issues and ensuring alignment with quality and delivery standards.
- Cert IV in Logistics or Supply Chain Management would be highly regarded
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Logistics Officer
- Proficient in data entry and management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders and department heads.
- Experience in mining or manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously.
