Maintenance Administration Assistant (12 Month Fixed Term)

Australian Manual Drivers Licence (minimum P2)This is a Fixed Term (12-month) residential position and is offered on a Monday to Friday (5/2 4/3) roster. Potentially flexible to suit school hours depending on successful applicant. 12 weeks of free transit accommodation is provided to assist the successful applicant to source their own accommodation locally.

Location: Located an eight-hour drive to Sydney, nine-hour drive to Melbourne, and a quick three-hour drive to Dubbo, Cobar is a fascinating town rich in mining heritage and natural attractions. CSA Mine is one of Australia’s longest operating copper mines with a history stretching back almost 150 years. At 1.9 kilometers deep, CSA is the second deepest copper mine in Australia and the third highest copper grade in the world. Located near the NSW town of Cobar, CSA Mine employs around 550 people and produces approximately 40,000 tonnes of copper concentrate per year.

The ore is mined and processed on site and then transported by rail 700km to the Port of Newcastle for export. CSA Mine was acquired by Metals Acquisition Limited in June 2023. CSA Mine is looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to join the Mobile Maintenance team.
