Responsibilities of The Role:
- To provide maintenance support and technical expertise for specific equipment
- Use their electrical skills and experience to troubleshoot, resolve technical problems and improve reliability/performance in their functional area
- Support equipment setup and will occasionally be required to work in other areas of the plant
- Respond to all maintenance requests in a quick & efficient manner. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Develop and implement planned maintenance tasks to reduce machine defects, faults and machine downtime.
- Accountable for individual compliance with company values, policies and procedures
- A minimum of 5 years in field experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated processing or packaging equipment
- Experience in FMCG or Food manufacturing
- Minimum Electrical Trade Certificate / Qualifications. Current Electrical License.
- Advanced diploma in Engineering (Degree, Diploma or equivalent)
- Experience with Rockwell or Siemens PLC’s online diagnostics
- CMMS (MEX) experience
- Excellent understanding of safety systems such as LOTO, work permits, hazardous work.
- Knowledge of the food processing industry and food safety / HACCP principles
- Experience in root cause analysis and asset optimization
