The opportunity with us!We are looking for an experienced Fitter to join our established Maintenance team at Cecil Park NSW. Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, your role is to provide effective maintenance and repair of plant and equipment to achieve agreed plant performance levels including availability, reliability, cost, safety, and quality.Do you like working with machinery, are safety focused; like getting your hands dirty and thrive in a fast-paced environment?Work hours:5 days per week, Mon-Fri6am - 2pm + regular overtimeOpportunity to work double time on regular Sunday shifts Key responsibilities include:Promote a Zero Harm safety culture and comply with Company PoliciesConsult and Work with others across the site to achieve resultsPerform preventative and breakdown maintenance in a timely, cost-effective mannerProactively identify, diagnose and repair breakdownsActively participate and assist in equipment upgrades and installationsParticipate in Toolbox Talks, actively taking part to resolve operational and WHSE issuesIdentify and maintain the maintenance spare parts and consumables inventory.Assisting in ensuring regular maintenance programs are carried out in accordance with the maintenance plansFault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the factory About you:Demonstrated experience in a similar roleTrade Qualified in a Mechanical disciplineDemonstrated safety knowledge and compliance in a manufacturing environment eg Performing Take 2's, writing Job Safety Environmental Analysis / Safe Work Method Statements / Work instructions, Issuing permits.Ability to follow plans and schedulesA proactive and flexible approach - nothing is a hassle for you!Good written and verbal communication skillsCurrent licenses / tickets including working at heights, confined space, EWP and dogging / rigging certification will be highly regarded.
