YOUR ROLE:
- Prompt Maintenance Response: Prioritize and execute maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Enhance the daily maintenance requirements, addressing system problems, and suggesting improvements for seamless hotel operations.
- Department Collaboration: Liaise with front desk and housekeeping for efficient room turnaround, contributing to an outstanding guest experience.
- Exterior Maintenance: Maintain external areas to exceed company standards, ensuring a neat and inviting appearance.
- Project Participation: Contribute to overall facility improvement by undertaking project work directed by the Maintenance Manager or General Manager.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure optimal availability and reliability by properly maintaining, using, and storing all equipment, with a focus on mechanical equipment.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various hotel departments and contributing to meetings.
- Availability and willingness to work weekdays/evenings, weekends & public holidays.
- Problem-solving skills, with the capability to suggest and implement improvements.
