Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team in a permanent full-time or permanent part-time position.

Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg has provided excellence in clinical and pastoral care to the people of Bundaberg and its surrounds since 1946.
Located within the medical precinct on Bourbong Street, our hospital is a 59-bed facility featuring four operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.
What you'll be doing
Carry out maintenance services on equipment, systems, and processes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of hospital assets.
About you
Hold a current relevant Trade qualification i.e., Refrigeration, Carpentry, Painting or Have extensive experience in performing maintenance within large facilities.
Able to work autonomously and as part of an on-call roster.
Enjoy working in a multi-dimensional role within a multiskilled team.
Understanding and application of Safe Systems of Work (e.g., Permit to Work, Confined space).
Ability to communicate confidently in written and oral forms at all levels within the organisation and to internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in computerised reporting systems.
Current manual driver’s license (C Class)
Eligible to work in Australia.
Previous experience in contractor and industrial plant management is advantageous.
