About the Role
A new opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Schedulerto join our Group Operations team at the Loy Yang Mine. Reporting to the Senior Planner & Scheduler, you will be responsible for the delivery of effective scheduling activities at the Loy Yang Site while ensuring safety and efficiency is upheld.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver efficient and effective maintenance schedules in safe and timely manner in order to optimise labour and plant downtime.
- Manage Planned & Unplanned outages & works as required.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify and implement efficiencies around maintenance planning, scheduling and execution through a continuous improvement approach.
- Develop and maintain a short, medium, and long-term schedules that compliments strategic business objectives.
- Assist with development and implementation of new tools and processes.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will be a Scheduler with experience in CMMS softwares and have strong analytical & problems solving skills with the ability to think laterally.
What you’ll bring to the table
- Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within the power generation / heavy industry setting is desirable.
- Experience with efficient and effective labour profiling within scheduling tools.
- Ability to produce short, mid & long-term maintenance schedules along with shutdown/outage schedules in a variety of scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, Prometheus preferred).
- Methodical and ‘stay on task’ mindset with continuous improvement approach to planning.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey information in a clear, timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
