What’s the role?
The Maintenance Services Coordinator role ensures coordination of services and facilities maintenance activities, both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance tasks. The role covers Cranes, scaffolding, rigging, civil, building maintenance (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), weed, waste and pest management.
Your accountabilities include the following:
- Ensures services and facilities maintenance activities are correctly aligned to operating windows and coordinated with other working teams.
- Coordinates to ensure safety-critical tasks embedded in the maintenance plan (for example Performance Standard verification testing) is conducted in accordance to schedule.
- Develops permits, risk assessments, lift plans, excavation certificates, barge booking requests and consolidate applicable to scheduled jobs.
- Works in conjunction with the planning, scheduling, operations teams to align service activities in advance for the scheduled weeks. Ensures activities are aligned to meet resource availability.
- Drive Central Maintenance backlog reduction and continuous improvement.
- Acts as a relief to the Maintenance Services Supervisor in their absence.
- Single Point Accountability during Turnarounds or major maintenance activities.
- Ensure efficient application of the scaffold management software (HiVis) including site norms across the Midstream Asset.
- Assists in development of the turnaround maintenance pre work, labour requirements, schedule and permitting prior to handover for execution.
- Make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of work procedures, plant performance and maintenance needs.
- Coordinates work activities to remain within the maintenance budget and to meet production targets.
QGC Midstream maintenance roster (9-day fortnight) Willingness to work extra hours as required for planned shutdowns and critical break-in work.
What we need from you
We are looking for professionals with the following:
- Crane, Scaffolding, Rigging knowledge and experience in heavy industry
- Experience in large industrial environments, preferably LNG
- Able to prioritise and collate services and facilities jobs to ensure efficient use of resources
- Excellent understanding of HSSE principles and Procedures
- Sound knowledge of Permit to Work systems
- Able to adapt to break in work that may impose on the schedule
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS – Maximo) and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in contractor supervision would be advantageous
- Experience in Cranes, Scaffolding and rigging (essential)
- Experience in civil, building maintenance, weed, waste and pest management would be advantageous
