Your new role
Working alongside a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Commission, repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as testing units, torque drivers and sealing tools
- Repair, modify or replace devices such as pneumatic hand tools, jigs and fixtures and mechanical presses
- Conduct other general repair and maintenance works to the site facility
- Fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment and tooling
- Assistance in the management of contractors in the service and repair of plant equipment and processes
- Support engineering department in facility projects including ; plant layouts, security systems, fire systems and cleaning
- Assist in driving continuous improvements in safety and operational efficiency
About you
As an experienced Maintenance Technician, you will have:
- Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and modify basic equipment and jigs and fixtures
- Ideally 5 years' experience with pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repair.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Ability to write detailed repair reports as well as good verbal communication
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and electronic component is advantageous
- Understanding of computing systems such as online parts catalogues, SAP beneficial
