In this role, you will be responsible for key client relationship management, identifying and securing large-scale opportunities, leading negotiations during the tender phase, and overseeing the successful implementation of strategic plans for each major project. The Role
- Manage client relationships and business development efforts, focusing on large-scale projects.
- Lead bid preparation, identifying winning strategies, and managing the tendering process.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate across functions to develop pricing strategies, mitigate risks, and optimize profitability.
- Review, negotiate, and prepare contracts and agreements to ensure compliance.
- Provide guidance to project teams on contract interpretation, negotiation, and administration.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including contract reporting and recordkeeping.
- Participate in project planning and forecasting activities to align pre-contract activities with project goals.
- Provide project leadership and oversee project performance to ensure client satisfaction
- Implement strategic and operational plans for each major project
- Monitor and report on programmatic and financial milestones.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project delivery staff to ensure quality project delivery.
- Actively participate in the Project Delivery Team, contributing to the culture, direction, and development of the organization.
About You
- Strong project management experience with a proven track record delivering Major Projects within the mining industry.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in a professional services or project delivery environment.
- Extensive experience in major project delivery, covering all phases.
- Demonstrated versatility across a range of project types.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to navigate complex relationships with key clients and build strong relationships with influential stakeholders.
- A collaborative leadership style that can motivate and drive a team but also be able to make tough decisions when necessary.
- Be comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and being able to take the initiative to deliver for clients without oversight.
- Demonstrated capability in project planning and forecasting
- Excellent Leadership skills to provide direction and oversight for project performance and client satisfaction.
