The Opportunity

We are looking for a confident, happy, and well-organised person to work withiin our make safe team, specifically dealing with restoration claims. You will be responsible for triaging, allocating internal trades, communication with owners and insurers and follow ups.
This is a newly created position that offers a wide variety of work in a fast-paced environment, within a well-supported team. We are searching for a passionate individual who thrives on helping people. You will be dealing with customers, clients and internal & external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain client and customer satisfaction, adhering to contract requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
2. Triaging and allocating restoration related works, emergency Make Safe works and follow through
3. Issuing Work Orders, updating file notes, internal and external systems, and managing communication with the claims managers, assessors, and repair supervisors.
4. Building and maintaining relationships with trade contractors, internal stakeholders and leaders.
5. Liaising with Supply Chain Officers to ensure trade availability, monitor service levels, and manage trade workload.
6. Reviewing and approving reports, scope of works and invoices.
7. Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Quality Management policies and procedures, OHS, and insurance requirements.
8. Liaising with our internal restoration team, following actions to receive urgent approvals and allocating work orders.
9. Adapting to temporary changes in processes and responsibilities during high claim volume or extreme weather events.
10. Responding to enquiries and complaints, and escalating issues as needed.
11. Support specialist report and make safe team, our team of repair coordinators and admin staff as needed
12. Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the Make Safe Team Lead
Key Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage workload effectively using provided tools and methods
- The capacity to maintain high attention to detail and quality under pressure, meeting time-based KPIs
- A positive and dynamic personality, with lateral thinking and reasoned decision-making abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Autonomous work ethic with the ability to accurately predict monthly financial outcomes
- Capability to build rapport with all stakeholders, working cooperatively to achieve common objectives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Building knowledge highly advantageous
- Structural restoration knowledge highly advantageous
